THE Current on and off rainfall over the country is expected to stop during the week.
The Solomon Islands meteorology service told environment Media today-06-2022 that this is normal on and off unstable weather for the country.
A statement from the weather forecast office said that this has nothing to do with or related to any cyclone.
The statement further adds that the current rain is caused by a trough that lies over Solomon Islands.
The statement revealed that the current rainfall experienced over the country is been caused by the trough.
According to the Met Office statement, most of the country is cloudy with some activity of showers and downpours.
The statement said that the western part of the country such as the Western province, Choiseul including Isabel have been experiencing more rain than other provinces as most of the cloud is moving towards the Western part of the country.
The statement concluded that it is a passing shower and is anticipated to return to normalcy this week.
