THE United Church community in Tulagi received a significant boost recently last week with the official handover of a newly completed sanitation project.
The project aims to improve access to clean water and sanitation for church members and visitors attending mission programs.
Hon. Michael Salini, the Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) for Tulagi Ward, expressed his gratitude to the United Church members, contractors, and the Ward Development Committee (WDC) for their efforts in successfully completing the project.
“I extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone involved in making this project a reality. This initiative will ensure better hygiene and sanitation for the church community and visitors,” Salini said.
United Church Chairman Lence Rukale also conveyed his appreciation to the Tulagi WDC and the MPA, acknowledging their commitment to improving community facilities.
The WDC has reaffirmed its dedication to development efforts and is looking forward to implementing more community-focused projects in 2025, prioritizing initiatives that address essential needs in Tulagi.
This sanitation project marks an important step toward enhancing public health and infrastructure within the United Church community and the wider Tulagi region.
