PM Acknowledges Guadalcanal Vendors at the Central Market

PRIME Minister Manasseh Sogavare has recognized Guadalcanal vendors at the Honiara Central Market during his remarks at the Guadalcanal 37th second Appointed day at Marau Station this week.

Prime Minister Sogavare said the Guadalcanal vendors have been supplying the Honiara populace with fresh garden produces and he thanks the people of Guadalcanal for that role they do every day.

“It is a role that Guadalcanal province was plying every day – providing fresh garden produces for Honiara residents.

“The role is of paramount importance for us. Thank you Mr. Premier and your people for keeping Honiara alive.

“We go to the market every day and take for granted the agricultural produces that we bought for consumption, but it comes from our hardworking people of Guadalcanal.

“We are indeed fortunate just because of the efforts the local farmers who toil the soil that we who lived in Honiara City can have access to a healthy diet,” the Prime Minister said.

Prime Minister Sogavare in the meantime, acknowledged the local women for tirelessly and faithfully turn up at the Market with fresh food every day.
