Bulkshop has joined hands with the Solomon Islands Rangers Association to create a 2026 calendar that highlights the country’s unique wildlife.

Each month features a different plant or animal found only in the Solomon Islands. Alongside colorful pictures, the calendar shares simple, informative facts about each species, helping people learn more about the incredible creatures and plants that call the islands home. The calendar will be sold at Bulkshop branches across Honiara.

“This calendar is more than just keeping track of dates,” said Edward Haikau Huitarau, Program Manager of the Solomon Islands Rangers. “It helps our community understand and appreciate the wildlife around us. It also shows that there are dedicated groups working every day to protect these species and their habitats.”

Albert C Kwatelae, National Consultant for the Solomon Islands Rangers, added, “I want to convey that our dedication leads to initiatives that draw our vision closer. We are grateful to Bulkshop and everyone who contributed to this calendar.”

Huitarau also thanked Bulkshop’s Managing Director, Adam Bartlett, for supporting the project. “This partnership shows that conservation is a shared responsibility,” he said. “It involves both rangers in the provinces and local businesses across the country.”

The 2026 Bulkshop-Solomon Islands Rangers Association Calendar is a small but meaningful step toward protecting the islands’ natural treasures for future generations. By bringing wildlife closer to people’s everyday lives, the calendar encourages everyone to play a part in preserving the Solomon Islands’ unique environment.
